New face of government

Concerning the article on sovereignty and Mr. Shannon (June 12), there is a mass movement toward a higher consciousness on Earth now. When mainstream media cover Anthony Weiner more than the two illegal wars, it’s no surprise that people are fed up. I’m not an advocate of sovereignty, but I understand why it’s catching on. This is not an anti-government letter, it’s a plea for sanity.

Remember “of the people, by the people and for the people”? There are millions that do. This is no longer an issue of Americans or nationalism. The masses on Earth are coming together and realizing our oneness.

If it takes a peaceful revolution to garner change, then so be it. We’re not buying into the fear-mongering anymore. Government will be a tool for the higher good of humanity. Corruption, greed, money, power and egomania are becoming passé.

The truth is setting us free, and the truth is that Love is the answer.
