Jail system failing

This old U.S. Marine believes jails are a place for punishment. Not torture.

We have thousands convicted on Death Row now. Why hasn’t the penalty been carried out as court ordered? Many others are sentenced to prison for many years. When and if they are released, how can they earn a living, except crime? The guilty and the victim’s family get very cruel and unusual punishment during this time frame.

A large increase in job training and work would help.

If population growth could be controlled we wouldn’t need wars. The world would be a better place to live for everyone.
