Share the sacrifice

With the government taking away a minimum of two years’ raises for Medicare recipients, now the teachers are voluntarily giving up wages along with the principals to save their jobs. What would happen if a miracle took place and all of the members of the House and Senate and governors all gave up 3 percent. That may very well put a real dent into the deficit? Good luck to all of us; we are going to need it.
