Two-wheeled trouble

Dealing with bicyclists has become a safety concern for my wife and me. Why would a biker want to ride on a narrow, two-lane rural road? Farmers moving machinery from field to field and rural residents going about their daily routines must deal with these bike lovers every day.

The bikers have bike paths and yet they insist on disregarding safety for themselves and others just because they can ride these roads. These bikers pay no taxes or license fees while on bikes. Yet they cause congestion and sometimes do not yield to motor traffic. They ride two, three and sometimes more abreast, even when cars approach, even when there might be a double yellow two or three miles long.

These bikers should have to go to school and be made to purchase license plates for their bikes.

Please do something to make the roads safer for everyone involved.
