- if you can. I live on South Perry and just the other night someone tried breaking into my car. They didn’t succeed, it was locked, but it’s a nice reminder to lock your cars and keep an eye out for one another. My car is parked off the street in a little old garage - I’m putting up motion sensor lights this weekend.
You probably saw the news yesterday that Spokane is fourth in the nation when it comes to car theft. I do all the right things: I always lock the car and I never leave anything in it - nothing - not even an empty pop can or a dime in the ashtray. Still, I almost became part of that statistic.
