Panel OKs Guns On Campus 16-3
Members of the House State Affairs Committee introduced a bill Thursday that would essentially allow guns to
be carried on college campuses across the state. Panel members voted 16-3 to approve the measure. The bill, sponsored by Rep. Erik Simpson, R-Idaho Falls, would allow colleges and universities in Idaho to regulate and prohibit firearms in undergraduate housing only. That means that students, teachers, staffers and visitors could openly carry the weapons in campus buildings/
