Gonzaga wins third straight WCC title

Back with the game story from GU’s 72-46 victory over Saint Mary’s in the WCC tournament women’s title game.

It’s been quite a week for Gonzaga coach Kelly Graves. He started it by traveling to Tacoma to watch his son, Max, a reserve on Gonzaga Prep’s boys basketball team, win the first game of their state championship run. Max hopped on a plane after G-Prep finished its championship and was able to view both of GU’s wins at the Orleans Arena.

“The Graves’s are blessed,” Kelly said as he watched his players cut the nets down.
