A thankful gesture
My wife and I were trying to figure out a way to help protect our Social Security. We thank the people who pay taxes to help us people on Social Security.
We believe that if all of us on Social Security would be willing to take a $5 cut in our checks, that would pour millions of dollars back into the Social Security fund.
Five dollars isn’t that much. It just means one less cheeseburger or a couple of soda pops.
I would like to ask all the people who are on Social Security to consider giving back a few dollars, and we think that is a great idea.
