April Fool’s Day For Adjournment?

Senate Majority Leader Bart Davis, R-Idaho Falls, told the full Senate that it will begin meeting on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in an attempt to complete its work by April 1. Davis said it would be possible to adjourn by that date “only if all the stars align perfectly on getting a few things done.” Davis did point out that the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee “still has some important work ahead of them,” including setting the public K-12 education budget/ Idaho Statesman .
