First baseball polls; WIAA stuff

Mason Kelley of the Seattle Times posted his first 4A and 3A state baseball rankings . Ferris (4A) and Mt. Spokane (3A) are ranked.

Doug Pacey of the Tacoma News Tribune is at the WIAA meetings in Renton. He reports the WIAA won’t make a decision until mid April regarding possible tweaks to the new state basketball format. He also reports that early estimates show a $31,000 profit for the state tourneys this year. Last year, the WIAA suffered an $81,000 loss. Here’s Pacey’s story .
