Hucks Poll: Rocky Gets Solid B

• Monday Poll: At the midway point of his fourth term, Sheriff Rocky Watson remains popular in Kootenai County. 60.5% of respondents awarded Rocky A’s or B’s for his performance over almost 17 years in office — 56 of 152 (36.4%) B’s and 36 of 152 (23.7%) A’s. Another 34 of 152 (22.4%) gave him C’s, while 13 each awarded D’s and F’s.
• BSU-BYU Poll: 46 of 70 respondents (65.7%) would prefer to see the Idaho Vandals football team play Boise State next year instead of Brigham Young. 24 of 70 (34.3%) voted the opposite. In 2011, BYU will fill the spot on UI’s schedule vacated by BSU, which jumped to the Mountain West Conference.
