Citizen needs sacrificed
Bile rose in my throat on March 18 as I read the article, “Idaho House OKs Medicaid cuts.”
The corporate-bought state leaders continue their crusade against the citizens whose call for corporate tax reform is completely ignored.
These corporate allies continue to blame everyone but their masters. They threw our kids and our teachers under the bus. They try to circumvent the Constitution of the U.S. They attack the poor, the single parent, the hungry, the elderly and the sick. Yet not a word about the sweet deals given to their masters.
The state of Idaho is not reflecting the needs and wants of its citizenry. Put bluntly, we have lost our voice to corporate greed and avarice. That in turn means we’ve lost control. The lip service they give is just that, lip service. We have wetland destroyers and tax dodgers doing state business.
To stop their backward march, we may have to look at secession. Their lack of true leadership is astounding.
