Sweet 16 wrap, on to Elite 8

Yep, woke up this morning (mind you it wasn’t too early), saw the newspaper and confirmed, Gonzaga is headed to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.

Our coverage included a game story , John Blanchette column , notebook , slide show and the other Sweet 16 Game .

Now the Zags face Stanford, which kindly came to Spokane last November and pulled out a close win over the Zags. But as both teams have been saying today, that was a long time ago.

There will be much more from the Spokane Regional tonight and tomorrow.
