High Noon: Embarrassing Your Kids
A post by Super Sub Cindy on her Facebook wall brought back memories. She writes: “Though, I miss him
tons. My Dad was NOT perfect. For instance, when I was in college I landed the role of Madge in Picnic. Dad came to opening night. During the highly emotional farewell scene Madge and Hal share a passionate kiss. The full house was silent until Dad said loudly, ‘Well that’s just about enough of that!’” My daughter’s first kiss happened on stage when she played “Titania,” queen of the fairies, in the Lake City High production of
“A Midsummer Night’s Dream,”
and had to plant one on Oberon, king of the fairies. I saw the play several times — and never liked that part.
Question: Have you ever embarrassed one of your children in a public setting?
