Pro-life group here to stay

On March 22, I attended the conference by former Texas Planned Parenthood director Abby Johnson at Inland Northwest Bank Performing Arts Center. I admire her for her conversion to the pro-life cause.

I was also with her the next day at Planned Parenthood in Spokane. As she tried to speak with people at the facility, I was appalled by the narrow-mindedness and arrogance of the workers and patients. People were obviously angry by her presence and the rest of us involved in the 40 Days for Life Campaign.

One woman entering was a pastor who simply said we were “misinformed” about abortion and gave no explanation about that. Abby has herself seen an ultrasound of a 13-week unborn boy who was moving and then aborted when the screen went dark.

Another woman leaving the facility made an obscene gesture at me and then dropped a child off at a day care next door. My heart went out to that child having such a caretaker.

Planned Parenthood, we won’t go away. Throw your vacuum aspirator out the window and stop the killing now.
