Arms irrelevant

After reading the S-R’s front-page headline on May 4, “Bin Laden was unarmed,” my first thought was, who cares if he was or was not armed or unarmed? How about the many, many unarmed people this thug terrorist killed or planned to kill?

Sitting in front of a TV for three days, viewing and reviewing the planes launched (unarmed passengers) into the Twin Towers, thousands killed (unarmed) plus the many rescuers on the ground killed (unarmed). The Pentagon and Pennsylvania innocent bystanders (unarmed) – killed by bin Laden and his terrorist groups on Sept. 11, 2001.

The Navy soldiers on the USS Cole (unarmed) died because of him. The thousands of (unarmed) innocent people he injured for life. Unarmed or armed, he deserved what he got, death!

I could care less if he was unarmed or armed. I’m mighty proud of our well-trained Navy SEALs. They did what they had set out to do, capture or kill him. Job well done!
