ICB: Pro-Luna Group Needs To Speak
I haven’t spent a lot of time focusing on the Luna recall efforts or the Students Come First legislation. I did write a column entitled
“Recall Luna Lunacy”
a while back. I have been watching and listening to the dialog
over the last few weeks and have been surprised and frustrated in the lack of balanced dialog. It seems that the anti-Luna/Students Come First crowd is the only vocal part of this discussion. Aside from Austin Hill on 580 KIDO radio and at www.kidoam.com, and Dennis Mansfield.com, I haven’t heard much support for Luna or the new Legislation. It appears the supporters of Luna and the Legislation are counting on what has been called the Silent Majority. I wonder how being silent on this issue can be a winning strategy. Being silent allows the opposition the opportunity to set the agenda, the tone of the conversation and discussion/

Question: Are you surprised that pro-Luna/Students Come First advocates have been silent during the twin push to gather signatures for a referendum and a recall?
