Take that, pilgrim

Concerning Mr. Johansen’s letter (May 4) about the Osama bin Laden death celebration, I’m shocked that HE’S shocked. After the initial atrocity and then spending the next 10 years being occasionally threatened, lectured and chastised via video by this mother of all sociopaths, I took a certain grim satisfaction on hearing they’d blown his brains out. Bottom line, we’re a country still much closer in spirit to John Wayne than John Paul. The pope forgives, we get even!
