Horrifying images recalled

In reference to the bold May 4 headline, “Bin Laden was unarmed,” I can only reply with a question of how many of the 3,000 American dead on 9/11 were armed?

How many of the 3,000 expected to die that day in ways more horrible than most of us can only imagine? How many American families were ripped asunder? How many millions still carry the horrifying images of the Americans jumping from the Twin Towers in order to escape a death by fire?

We should feel sorry for this man because he didn’t have a chance to grab a weapon, which was undoubtedly close by? I don’t think so. Thanks to the bravery, dedication and fast action of the American military he wasn’t given the opportunity to kill again. I only hope he had about one second to realize he was on the way to a meeting with Satan. May his soul be forever in torment.
