Hayden 7-11 Employee Robbed

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a robbery that occurred in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven located at 9577 N. Government Way, in Hayden, last night. Initial investigation indicates that a lone male suspect used force against a store employee as she was walking to her vehicle, at the end of her shift, at about 10 PM.  The male suspect took the employee’s purse and fled eastbound along Hayden Avenue on foot. A subsequent track by a Sheriff’s Department K-9 followed the suspect to where he may have got into a vehicle a short distance away. The victim was transported to Kootenai Medical Center where she was treated and released for minor injuries/ Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department news release.
