- Huckleberries: How would you characterize the differences between your opponent and you?
- Greg Rod: I’ve never met my opponent. I haven’t had that pleasure yet. I imagine we have more in common than differences.
- Huckleberries: What do you think of Tom Luna’s public education reforms?
- Greg Rod: As a district, we’re going to have to spend time and effort working through the changes. The changes will bring a lot of fears to the stakeholders. We’ll need to educate the stakeholders to eliminate some of the fear. I don’t personally support what the 2011 Legislature did. But that’s what we’re working with. And we have to move on from there.
- Huckleberries: What surprising things have you seen about this election?
- Greg Rod: I’m surprised about the amount of interest this race has garnered. I’m humbled by the show of support in this race. I look forward to serving for the next four years.
