Ward: RRepublicans Are Mainstream

Jeff Ward (re: Christie: Not your mainstream Republicans) : If we are so far out of the Republican mainstream why did over 600 (a majority) of the county absentee requests for this election come in as a response from our mailing? It seems only people that attack the Reagan Republicans come from the far left (Mike Kennedy, Thom George etc.) and the far right (Bob Pederson.) You might want to watch the company you keep Christie. Check out our facebook page, it is packed about 250 ‘mainstream’ Republicans from Boise to Bonners Ferry; from the Lt. Governor Brad Little to a bunch of college kids. If you are under the delusion that the Republican mainstream is centered around that small group of downtown Coeur d’Alene insiders who tax and spend like Democrats, support Democrats in elections and still cling to the claim to be Republicans, well I guess we ARE out of the ‘mainstream.’” Full comment here.
