Adam: The Adulterated Mr. Gingrich

And that’s why it’s a show-stopper for me.” I’ve actually heard something quite similar from my mother, and I doubt they’re alone. Mr. Gingrich’s cheating and divorce are devoid of any narrative that might elicit sympathy. Many people gave John McCain a pass on breaking up his first marriage due to the traumatic experience of seven years in the Hanoi Hilton. Mr. Gingrich’s were the classic case of a man upgrading to a newer model of wife. Of course, the relevant question is what does it have to do with being President?
