Dennis: A Stewardess Takes Flight

On the trip’s leg from SLC to Burbank, a newly minted stewardess was on only her second trip. She was greeeeen. Everything she said was unpracticed, her syntax was broken and she really blew it. And I loved it. Why? Because I actually listened to her - and so many of us aboard were all “pulling” for her. Her vulnerability allowed those of us who have flown a lot (over the years) and who could PROBABLY repeat the monolog, to want her to succeed.
