Kettle debris spilled into Lake Roosvelt

BOATING – The debris boom at the mouth of the Kettle River was breached recently, causing logs and other floating debris to flow downstream into Lake Roosevelt, state officials say.

The debris can be hazardous to boaters.
A temporary boom is installed a mile south of the U.S. 395 Bridge near Kettle Falls, forcing boats to pass on the east side of an anchored barge.
