Only Have Eyes For You …

At the Friday Democrats luncheon, Dan Malcolm pitched his candidacy for the Lakes Highway District. He told how he was raised in Wallace, but his dad, a school administrator, moved the family to Cottonwood, Idaho. Dan remembers complaining that he wanted to go back to Wallace for school and that there were no pretty girls in Cottonwood. His dad suggested he turn around in his homeroom class and check out the girl that sat behind him.  That’s when Dan pointed to his wife Carol, saying, “Forty-seven years later….” (SR colleague Jesse Tinsley, who snapped this photo, provided the information for this post.)
