Remember flotation device

Is Mr. Kenneth Johansen, of Cheney, (Letters, May 4) so young he doesn’t remember or wasn’t aware of 9-11-01?

We all watched in sadness and horror as our fellow Americans, men and women, rather than burn to death in the towers chose to jump to their death.

Too many died that day.

And also in horror and anger, the TV news showed the people of far-off distant lands celebrating the burning and falling Twin Towers. They were laughing and cheering and appeared very happy as we died and cried.

Today we still love and support all the troops that fight and die for us. Even Mr. Johansen.

I hope and pray for my country and pray also that Mr. bin Laden’s 40 promised virgins know how to swim.
