• 10:24 a.m. CPD Blue is investigating a battery that occurred at Lakes Middle School.
• 10:14 a.m. Harold is upset that a neighbor’s horse is eating his shrubs in 8200 block of Apache/Athol.
• 10:07 a.m. A disabled vehicle is reported @ H95 & Dalton Avenue/CdA.
• 9:21 a.m. (via Mia Carlson’s Twitter): ISP & other are seeking a 27-year-old Melissa Bates, who they say is wanted for alleged St. Maries murder. Bates (describedd as 5-2, 148 with brown hair & hazel eyes) is driving a 2000 green Kia Sportage with Idaho plates. She may be armed with a .45 pistol.
• 9:03 a.m. ISP officer tells fellow officer that he’s headed for Silverwood to continue investigation into Friday fatality. Other officer asks if he handled two other crashes over weekend including one that killed Post Falls biker in Wallace. First officer said he wasn’t. “You were lucky,” I guess,” Responds 2nd cop.
