Kevin: Writing On Doomsday Deadline

On his Twitter account, Idaho Statesman opinion editor Kevin Richert comments: “Writing my Saturday column, which could be my pre-end of the world curtain call. Should I be extra nice, or extra vitriolic? Help me decide!” As you should know by now, a fringe religious group is predicting that Judgment Day will arrive at 6 o’clock Saturday afternoon (PDT). A couple of guys with signs were reinforcing that idea late Thursday afternoon at the corner of H95 & Appleway. Which has caused me to wonder whether I should prepare for liftoff, in case of the Rapture. In other words, should I be coaching someone to handle things at Hucks Central in case the Doomsday prophets are right for a change?
