It’s one of the first beautiful weekends and people aren’t wasting time getting out on the water in Coeur d’Alene. As boats make their way through the city launch, the sheriff’s department is asking people to watch their wakes. Whether it’s for a date or to spend time with family there were a constant stream of boats being dipped into the water at Lake Coeur d’Alene Friday.While boaters are eager to enjoy the sun, with the lake running high and close to flood stage, the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department is asking boaters to watch their wakes.The request means boaters are asked to stay away from the shore and watch out for debris/ Anusha Roy , KXLY.
