Right question, wrong respondent

I had to laugh when I read Nor Ellefson’s letter on May 14. He asks the question, “So come on, John Boehner, you’ve been there over 100 days. Where in the hell are the Jobs?”

I think the question should be directed at President Obama, he has been in office, what, 800-plus days? Democrats controlled both houses of Congress his first year he was in office. So what happened? Unemployment went from less than 7 percent when Obama was elected to 9 percent today with no indications it will be coming down anytime soon.

What actions has the president taken? Well, we had his “stimulus” plan, a plan the president would assure the unemployment rate would not exceed 8 percent. The president was wrong. The “stimulus” plan did not work. The results were negligible. Well, it did waste near a trillion dollars, but who’s counting?
