JohnA: Seeing Best & Worst Of People

JohnA: On one sunny day this weekend I saw the best and worst of people. First, on our way to town I noticed a small turtle crossing Highway 3 near Rose Lake. While Deena raced back to get the little guy safely off the road, other motorists helped to stop traffic in both directions. We got smiles and waves from everyone involved. Later, in Hayden we watched a rich jerk in a new BMW block not one but two gas pumps as he filled a gas can in his trunk. Then, despite the growing line of cars and our accompanying frustrations, he proceded to get into his car and start checking his cell phone. Finally, a controlled Deena asked him to pull ahead and with great effort he finally complied.
