Joker Predicts Lake City Future

Here are my predictions: The AG will find no conflict of interest. This will send Mary and her minions in another hysterical tizzy about conspiracies and how the entire system is rigged. She’ll rant and rave during election season — using this as example of why the incumbents all need to go - including Ron Edinger. Then in November, Steve Adams, Dan Gookin will win seats on the council with Edinger hanging on to his — albeit barely. Then next year Sims will introduce more legislation to battle against the evil urban renewal districts, specifically banning elected officials from sitting on the boards of urban renewal districts. The bill will pass the house and then flounder and die in the Senate. More below.

Question: State Rep. Kathy Sims introduced herself last night at the council meeting as the representative for Coeur d’Alene’s residents. Are you happy with her work on your behalf in the Legislature?

The McEuen project will move forward despite speeches by Adams laced with Christian messages of being frugal and simple. Gookin will pragmatically accept the project — claiming he had a role in reducing the price to taxpayers.

Mary and the gang will continue their war against Mike Kennedy and Mayor Bloem.
