Boise State Gets Big East OK

The State Board of Education voted Thursday afternoon to give Boise State President Bob Kustra the authority to the final decision “to accept an invitation to the Big East as a football only member and to another conference for the University’s remaining intercollegiate sports.” The board voted 7-1 to give Kustra the authority. The no vote came from Bill Goesling, a board member from Moscow. “We are certainly working on this day-by-day and I would think that by next week we should have a resolution,” Kustra told the board/ Brian Murphy , Idaho Statesman.
