Brower the best choice

As a primary candidate for the Spokane Public Schools board, and having had the opportunity to talk with all but one of the five primary candidates, I would like to add my full endorsement and support for Deana Brower for the school board position.

We need someone who is not divisive, but willing to work in a collaborative environment, and willing to work through problems for solutions and not make it a personal battle to win at all costs.

You cannot get anything done through discord or threats, but with the willingness to build consensus and resolution for a common goal.

I always have felt our teachers and support staffs were not getting the respect or proper treatment accorded the professionals that they are. Our school board needs someone with a balance of compassion, compromise and common sense. Without our professional experienced educators and staff, our children will only suffer, and they are our future.

I believe Deana is the someone we need to provide the guidance and oversight the board will need in the trying times ahead.
