Fullmer to change schools

There is a crisis in education in our nation. The United States has fallen in national rankings below other, less-developed countries. If you know a public school graduate and have reasonable expectations about what “college-ready” means, you know that something is not right in our schools.

On the general election ballot in mailboxes now, citizens in Spokane will have the opportunity to begin to effect change in our schools. The two school board candidates could not be more contrasting.

One is supportive of the current programs and efforts of the school district; one realizes those efforts are not returning positive results. One candidate has illegally received the campaign efforts of district administration and the union; the other candidate easily recognized this relationship is inappropriate for a representative of the taxpayers.

One candidate will support the status quo; the other intends to hold district administration fully responsible because the buck stops with them.

It’s no wonder district administrators and union leadership are using underhanded and illegal tactics to support Deana Brower. Sally Fullmer means to hold them accountable for their actions and their results.
