Help returning warriors

I’m getting sick and tired of politicians who spout out that old statement “government doesn’t create a single job.” Where do they think their job comes from?

Every one of them lives off the taxpayers’ dime. And talk about the biggest group of unproductive workers while other people can’t beg, borrow or steal a job – you don’t have to look any further than Washington!

But they’re soon going to have the opportunity to do what’s right. Thousands of our government-paid warriors will soon be home for the holidays, providing us with a vast resource of skills and talents.

Now, I know the conversation always comes around to how do we pay for everything? Well, since these warriors paid dearly by putting their lives on the line, let’s deduct any cost of creating a jobs program out of our politicians’ salaries.

Most people out of work are not lazy, nor do they have some flaw in their character. They simply need help in relating their skills and talents to new opportunities. This is especially true of our returning warriors. So, let’s give them the breaks they deserve.
