In the right party?
Though many letters to the editor raise my ire, I usually just move on with my day. However, Mr. Leach’s letter of Nov. 15 just screams for rational response.
Initially, I thought here’s a reasonable man and point of view, but the “climate change” tipped his hand. Let’s see, “doom and gloom, class envy, demagoguery for disagreeing with policies, inclination to divide amongst color, gender and success.” Sounds like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, or Bill O’Reilly to me. What party do these objective journalists support?
And let us not forget your own Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, whose sole purpose is what? Create jobs? Reduce the deficit? Stimulate the economy? No, and I quote, “The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.”
Now there’s a guy who’s working for the people.
But here’s the kicker, “People if allowed the environment to do so will in most cases do the right thing.” Well how did the Wall Street fiasco work out for ya? You need to take a serious look in the mirror come 2012. Unless you’re part of the 1 percent, you’re in the wrong party.
