WSU’s Apple Cup defeat, the early edition

It’s the day after the Apple Cup and the day we should learn the future of Washington State’s football program. To recap: Bill Moos says all year he’ll decide Paul Wulff’s fate at the end of the year; WSU lost the Apple Cup to Washington 38-21 at CenturyLink yesterday to finish the season 4-8; within minutes after the game the Seattle Times posts a story that Moos has decided to let Wulff go. • Washington State: As we passed along last night and included in our notebook for today’s S-R, our attempts to provide corroboration to Bud Withers’ report in the Times were unsuccessful. So we’ll keep trying today. … As for yesterday’s game, we’ll pass along all the links we could find now, then add the Pac-12 stuff later, after we’ve done some other work. … Besides our notebook, we had our game story , statistics , scoring and keys to the game.
