Weekend Wild Card — 10.1.11

All in all, we have a good weekend on the football front. Moscow got over its jimjams and decided to travel to Coeur d’Alene next Friday to play the state’s No. 1-ranked Viks (although the game will no longer be designated as homecoming). WSU opened Pac-12 play by stunning host Colorado in the final minutes. Idaho played gamely but fell to ACC Virginia in overtime. Boise State & EWU won. And the sun in the Inland Northwest made us forget that October is upon us. I’ll replay this Wild Card and see you back here at 8 o’clock Monday morning …
