HucksOnline didn’t realize that Kris R. LaMarr, a candidate for Hayden City Council Seat No. 1, is Mayor Ron McIntire’s son-in-law until a little birdie confirmed that for me this afternoon. LaMarr, is a commercial truck driver with no previous political experience who moved here from eastern Washington two years ago. He moved to the Inland Northwest from Colorado 5 years ago. His wife and he have nine children. In a Sept 21 story about his candidacy by the Coeur d’Alene Press, LaMarr told reporter David Cole that he “personally knows Mayor Ron McIntire well, but declined to say how.”

Question: Why would LaMarr not admit that he’s McIntire’s son-in-law?
