At Clark Fork, photographer Corey Vogel snapped this close-up of a bovine yearning for greener pastures. Corey sez the animal isn’t wild but it didn’t want anywone to pet it either. Writes Corey on his Facebook wall: ” My brother Dexter Vogel raises cattle & they’re some good ones. No funky stuff in this beef. They’re pampered quite well.” To which Trish Gannon responded: ” I have my half cow on order with Dex - this guy in the photo might be my beef stew throughout the winter!” You can see more of Corey’s fine photography here.
