LCDC In 3 Words
At last night’s Coeur d’Alene City Council forum, Coeur Group panelists asked the 9 candidates who appeared (only Annastasia Somontes didn’t) to describe Lake City Development Corp. in three words. Here’s there answers:
- Dan Gookin: Taxation without representation.
- Pat “Mitch” Mitchell: didn’t know enough about the agency to answer but at end of forum said: “I’ve learned tonight that LCDC isn’t a band.”
- George Sayler: Public private partnership.
- Steve Adams: Scourge on taxpayers.
- John Bruning: Effective, efficiency, (only economic tool Idaho gives)
- Amber Copeland: Good intentions, poor administration.
- Derec Aujay: Something funny going on.
- Adam Graves: Growth, stimulus, misunderstood
- Ron Edinger: Public private partnership.
Question: What do you make of the candidates’ answers? And/or: Can you describe LCDC in 3 words?
