‘Napoleon Dynamite’ Series Near
If you couldn’t get enough of the most awesome “Napoleon Dynamite” back in 2004, you’ll be excited about a
new Fox series on the horizon. Director Jared Hess and his wife Jerusha hit it big with their indie feature that turned the story of an awkward teenager, Napoleon, his quirky family and wacky friends living in rural Idaho into a national sensation. The Hesses filmed the movie in Jared’s hometown of Preston, Idaho. In the past year, they’ve been in development with “The Simpson’s” producer Mike Scully on the series that will be voiced by the original actors, including Jon Heder, Efran Ramirez and Tina Majorino and is planned as a mid-season replacement on Sundays for sometime in January. No firm air date is set/
