Padden a public servant

I have had the privilege of knowing and even working with Mike Padden for well over 30 years. Mike worked for the people of the 4th District in the state House of Representatives for 14 years. In many cases he stood against his own party when he felt they were wrong on an issue.

He is a man of his word, a conservative voice in a conservative district. We lost him in Olympia but gained a judge who heard many DUI cases and was considered a hard taskmaster. It should be pointed out he not only judged these cases, he worked to get a program instituted to cut down on repeat offenders.

This was not a requirement of a judge, but Mike worked outside the box to better serve the people of the state of Washington. Mike had been the choice of our late Sen. Bob McCaslin to replace him in the Senate.

As a senior citizen, I urge you to vote for the man that will serve you best: Mike Padden.
