Mary: Sayler ♥ Obama!? Gosh!

At OpenCDA.com, Mary Souza has ha-huge news this morning. City Council candidate George Sayler, who represented the city of Coeur d’Alene for four years as a Democrat, is — wait for it — someone who supports President Barack Obama, also a Democrat. Shazam! In her weakly newsletter, Souza can’t believe that Sayler plans to vote for Obama again in 2012. Apparently, Sayler said this at the Pachyderm Club breakfast Friday. Quoth Mary: “I know Mr. Sayler has never been a business person, but he must be aware of the never-ending recession, the many local businesses closing their doors and the continued high (11.6%) unemployment rate in our area.  I don’t think the Obama economic policies have been good for Idaho.  And I certainly don’t want someone on our City Council who is so deeply out of touch with the problems of our community.” More here.

Question: I wonder if Mary would want someone on the council, like Steve Adams, who is a big fan of state Rep. Phil Hart, who has an aversion to paying property taxes?
