Baxter willing to listen

In response to Carol Snyder’s Oct. 2 letter (“Baxter endorsement strange”) questioning Sen. Jeff Baxter’s conservative Republican credentials because he received the endorsement of the United Steelworkers, shouldn’t it be self-evident that Jeff represents all the people in the 4th District?

Sen. Baxter approaches even those with whom he may disagree with respect and is at least willing to listen to their viewpoints. Next door to the union is a Republican business, which also has a large Baxter sign.

Carol seems to be giving only half of the story. What could her motive be?
