OpenCDA: Who ‘Dimed Out,’ Ron?

Adam Graves, candidate for incumbent Ron Edinger’s council seat, speaks to the Pachyderm Club this morning.

You can tell that things are getting interesting in the Coeur d’Alene City Council election. OpenCDA.com is offering posts almost every day. Some of them understandable. Today, Bill McCrory is asking the question, “Who dimed out, Ron?” Dimed out must be some OpenCDAspeak for the not-as-old “ratted out.” Seems the issue of who “finked on” — OK, that’s a term from the ‘60s — is of greater importance than the fact that the city violated city code by hiring Ron’s three grandsons. And as big of an issue as the fact that Edinger and city officials say they knew nothing of the nepotism rule. Here’s McCrory: “The intrepid reporter has learned that the real culprit ‘Who Dimed Out Ron?’ is a manipulative member of the Mullan Avenue Gang. (Translation: City Hall) I amazed that McCrory would label himself a reporter. Mebbe he thinks he’s writing a detective novel. You can read the rest of the spiel and entertaining commentary here.

Inquiring minds (and OpenCDA wants to know): Is the flap over Ron Edinger’s grandkids working for the city connected to his opposition to McEuen Field improvements?
