• 5:16 p.m. Caller reports vehicle hit a deer on H95 & Hayden Avenue.
• 5:05 p.m. Semi sideswipes passenger vehicle near Bonners Ferry, blocking H95. (Update: Sounds as though serious accident w/head & facial injuries involved. Patient being transferred to KMC.)
• 4:53 p.m. Grass fire reported @ Nez Perce & Buckskin/CdA, where fireworks were being shot off.
• 4:46 p.m. T.J. Maxx, on West Wilbur/CdA, reports a shoplifter in store.
• 4:38 p.m . Vehicle fire reported along I-90 @ M/P 25.5 (4th of July Pass).
• 4:37 p.m. 2 males are fighting at the entrance to the Kootenai County Courthouse.
• 4:40 p.m. Driver reports injured deer trying to get up on H97 @ M/P 82 (Turner Bay/Lake CdA).
• 4:37 p.m. 2 dogs @ 19358 W. Sweetbriar/Hauser have been pierced w/porcupine quills.
• 4:32 p.m. Crystal reports someone used her name & photo ID @ St. Pius Church/CdA.
• 4:15 p.m. Woman w/man who entered Greyhound Park/PF to ask for a tire iron slipped worker a note, saying she’s being held against her will. The couple now is headed for Centennial Trail & a gold Honda parked along e/b I-90 near M/P 2 (Pleasantview). (Update: Cops have made contact.)
