Ward: We ♥ Our Guys: Adams, Gookin

Of course the Reagan Republicans have endorsed Adams and Gookin and are actively working for their election. It is the Republicans in this race that are fighting for open government, fiscal restraint and the people’s right to vote on the use of their tax dollars. The Democrat’s Bruning and Sayler oppose a public vote on McEuen field, support unwarranted city pay hikes, and have stood against real oversight of the closed and secretive L.C.D.C. There could not be a greater clarity in the voters’ choice in these races. More government openness, fiscal restraint and greater voice for the citizens on one side or more of the same obstructiveness, secrecy and official arrogance on the other.
